Big Brother Systray Monitor |

Big Brother monitors servers and I check on our servers daily. I looked for a client that would monitor Big Brother on my Windows XP desktop without me having to open the web browser, but all I could find was Little Brother, which failed to work on XP. Now Linux running KDE has the best Systray montior ever, but I am stuck on Windows at the moment. I got tired of looking and wrote my own in Python using the systray library.

I had looked at some on-line applications awhile ago, like Writely a word processor that works via the web browser, but there were very few at the time. The boom with Ajax enabled Javascript toolkits and widgets has opened up a world I have been anticipating for awhile, web based gui applications. |

I have been playing with a lot of AJAX  enabled Javascript toolkits lately, like Mochikit and Dojo, but they are uninteresting to me and just contain effects web designers have been doing for years in a more combined framework like fashion. Plex however is interesting to me for many reasons. |
