Facebook will make the free Internet irrelevant for us common citizens. Not only is Facebook starting to absorb big corporate sites through their advertisement infrastructure and authentication mechanisms, now they are working on controlling comments. I see Facebook becoming the Internet, or rather a layer on top on the Internet obscuring non-corporate sites by weaving themselves into the wealthiest companies web applications. I'm not sure I want a unified web controlled by a billion dollar corporation that tracks every little thing I do and say, but what can you do?

I found another Gimp that has been modified for natural painting. The developer(s) are Japanese so the main site is not in English. There are downloads for Windows and Mac. I haven't had any time with this so I don't know how well it works. Gimp for Painters

If you are looking for an open source natural paint application why not use Gimp? MyPaint is good, but it doesn't run on OS X and it requires you to use multiple software packages to accomplish some tasks. Gimp works very well as a paint app, but it lacked brushes and tools to really make it shine. You could spend time making them yourself or now you could get Gimp Paint Studio . These assorted brushes, tools, textures make Gimp a full featured painting tool and you still have all the great features of a high end photo editor. Best part of all, it's free to use and contribute so what are you waiting for? Keep reading for OS X installation. Win and Nix and covered on the GPS site under Wiki link.

The Net Neutrality arguments are pointless, because the population of the United States will allow the rules to change by choice over time, even if their choices are bad. It’s already in the works and the government can’t help you. |
