I have a almost six year old M675 laptop. I love this laptop! It's been through every distro of Linux, BSD, and even Win 2k, XP, and Vista! Only problem I've ever had with this laptop is it's age. Everytime I reinstall Windows XP I have to update all the drivers and they are hard to find if you don't know where to look. Of course I forget by the time I need them again so I decided since I saw others looking for these drivers to post them, including the best place to look for them on Gateway's site.

These are the last versions of these drivers and they will not be updated further and it's only a matter of time before they no longer appear on Gateway's site. You can still find newer ATI and Wireless drivers, but these tend to work fine and are stable so I don't update. If you have problems with wireless update the BIOS, it fixed it for me. BIOs flash is not included in this zip, but the link to Gateway has the latest BIOS. You will need the BIOs flash utility included in the Application and Drivers disk. If you have trouble finding that send me a message and I can make you a disk image of the original Gateway CD.

The drivers are for the Gateway M675PIR P/N: 3501732.To locate the number look on the bottom of the laptop. Other 675 models are supported with these drivers, but newer models may have later drivers for the chipset, etc... The zip is about 150mb and contains the following drivers:
