The only iPhone 3g S disappointment PDF Print E-mail

I waited for the second gen 3g and after a week I am pretty happy. The 3g speed is nice after living on Edge the last two years and the hardware speed is nice also; although, I notice it the most when taking a picture, but installing an application or playing a game are faster too. The new features and utilities in 3.0 are great as well, even if I had these features while jail broke for awhile. So where was I disappointed?

I was hoping for MMS, which will get here eventually - thanks AT&T, but the camera is subpar and that really bummed me out, because I use that the most. The images are dark and grainy so the lighting has to be even better than in the old camera! I did a compare between my 2g, a 3g, and the my new 3g S and the old cameras simply look better in medium light. Even though grainy the new camera did pick up more details, like the reflection of the cup,  but really only looks great for outdoor bright day shots. Oh well, it does alright but a flash and, at the very least digital zoom, would have been nice...

One thing that isn't really a disappointment, but rather an interesting bug is the battery life indicator. I have watched it do this numerous times where the indicator reads a lower number than out of the blue reads higher. I can't complain, it always gives me more battery when I start to think I need to charge.
